Altamash Kabir elected Dhaka Club president

Altamash Kabir Mishu has been elected as President of Dhaka Club, country's premier social club. The election was held on Saturday.

Altamash Kabir, Editor of the Daily Sangbad, bagged 979 votes against his lone rival Shameem Hussain, club's incumbent president, who got 392 votes.

Elected Directors
Ten Directors of the club were also elected in Saturday election. The elected Directors are: Tarek Ahmed Adel, Osama Taseer, Tanvir Aziz Khan, Prof Jahangir Chowdhury, SM Hafiz Al Ashad, Nazma Akhter, Md Aminul Hoque, Ambareen Islam, Abdur Rahman and Rabbani Jabbar.
