The Bangladesh Travel & Tourism Fair (BTTF) 2026, one of the country’s flagship international tourism events, is set to take place from October 29 to 31 at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center (BCFCC) in Dhaka, bringing together tourism stakeholders from more than 20 countries.

Organized by the Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB), country’s apex tourism association, the three-day fair aims to promote Bangladesh as a tourism destination, create new business opportunities and strengthen regional and international cooperation in the travel and tourism sector.

US-Bangla Airlines is the title sponsor of BTTF 2026.

The details of the fair were announced at a press conference held at Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport on Monday. TOAB President Mohammed Hanif presided over the event.

According to the organizers, BTTF 2026 will feature more than 200 booths and stalls, over 220 exhibitors, 250-plus qualified buyers and more than 2,500 trade visitors. The fair is also expected to attract over 60,000 public visitors. More than 200 airlines, hotels and tour operators are expected to participate across four themed exhibition halls, creating opportunities for both business-to-business networking and consumer engagement.

Tourism organizations, tour operators and travel agencies from more than 20 countries are expected to join the event. Participants from Nepal, India, Singapore, the Maldives and the Philippines have already confirmed their participation, while representatives from Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates, China, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Thailand, Brunei, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia and Azerbaijan are also expected to attend.

The international participation is expected to provide a major platform for destination promotion, business networking and the expansion of tourism partnerships between Bangladesh and global markets.

BTTF 2026 is being supported by the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Ministry of Cultural Affairs, National Skills Development Authority (NSDA), Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, Bangladesh Tourism Board, Bangladesh Tourist Police and the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI).
