Gas supply falls as rough weather disrupts LNG transfer

 
Petrobangla has said the transfer of LNG from imported cargoes to the floating terminal in Maheshkhali, Cox’s Bazar, has been disrupted by rough weather.

As a result, LNG and overall gas supply have declined somewhat from normal levels, the state-owned corporation said in a press release on Thursday.

Petrobangla expressed regret for the temporary inconvenience caused by the disruption, saying the situation was unavoidable.

It said gas supply would return to normal as soon as weather conditions in the Bay of Bengal improve, Insha'Allah.
