Autumn draped in cloud

Autumn arrives with a quiet charm, filling nature with soft sunlight, dew-kissed mornings, white clouds and fields of swaying kash flowers. Inspired by this timeless beauty, designer Rubayyat Chowdhury has created an elegant autumn saree titled “Megh” for her clothing brand Chowdhury’s.

The collection captures the essence of autumn through a delicate blend of fabric, colour and indigenous craftsmanship. Made from soft cotton Kota, the saree features distinctive block prints created with original motifs, giving the traditional attire a contemporary appeal.

The upper portion of the saree reflects the dreamy white clouds that float across the autumn sky, while the lower section is adorned with motifs inspired by the graceful kash flowers. Together, the two elements create a poetic landscape on the drape, echoing the changing beauty of the season.

The inspiration behind Megh is beautifully reflected in the imagery of autumn mornings-golden sunlight spreading across the horizon, dew resting on foliage and the gentle movement of nature in the crisp seasonal air.
