ACC summons former defence adviser Tarique Siddique

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has summoned former defence adviser to Sheikh Hasina, Tarique Ahmed Siddique, for questioning over alleged embezzlement of Tk 250 crore from the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport third-terminal project. 

He has been asked to appear at the ACC headquarters at 10am on October 7. The notice was reportedly hung at his Baridhara residence after he could not be found there.

The ACC said his statement is needed for the investigation into the allegations.
