10-hour power outage in parts of Natore on Saturday

Electricity supply will remain suspended for 10 hours in several areas of Baraigram upazila in Natore on Saturday for tree branch trimming and maintenance work, according to Natore Palli Bidyut Samity-2.

In a notice issued on Friday, the utility said power supply would remain off from 7AM to 5PM on feeders 4, 7 and 10 under the Bonpara-1 substation.

The affected areas include Bonpara Bazar, Sardarpara, Haroa, Kalikapur, Chatiangachha, Malipara, Haldarpara, Shrikhandi, Bhabanipur, Ahmedpur, Balia, Par-Ahmedpur, Kayemkola, Kachutia and Fazlitola.

The utility said the schedule could change depending on the progress of the maintenance work, adding that electricity supply would be restored as soon as the work was completed.

Natore Palli Bidyut Samity-2 expressed regret for the temporary inconvenience caused to consumers.
