4 fire units respond to cotton warehouse blaze in Ashulia

A fire broke out at a cotton warehouse in Jamgara area of Ashulia, Savar, on Friday night.

The fire started around 9:30pm on October 9. No casualties were reported immediately.

As of 10:30pm, firefighters were working to bring the blaze under control.

Mamun Hossain, a firefighter at Zirabo Modern Fire Service, confirmed the incident.

He told Dhaka Post that they received information about the fire at around 9:40pm. Two units from Zirabo Modern Fire Service and two from DEPZ Fire Service were dispatched to the scene and were working to control the blaze.
