Measles outbreak: 7 more die, 1,273 new cases reported

Seven more people have died with measles symptoms in the country in the past 24 hours, while 1,273 new suspected and confirmed cases were reported nationwide, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
In its daily measles situation report issued on Sunday, the DGHS said the deaths included one each in Dhaka, Chattogram, Khulna and Rangpur divisions, and three in Sylhet division.
Since March 15, the total number of deaths from confirmed measles and cases involving measles-like symptoms has risen to 1,162, the report said.
