Ex-Union chairman arrested in Ctg

Police arrested Abul Monsur, a Krishak League leader and former chairman of Dhalai Union Parishad in Hathazari, Chattogram, on Monday (October 12) in connection with multiple cases, including sabotage.

He was arrested from the Panchlaish area of the city. Police said nine cases have been filed against him with different police stations.

Panchlaish Police Station OC Mozammel Haque said he was arrested under the Anti-Terrorism Act. He also faces several cases, including one related to the July massacre.

Abul Monsur is a member of the Chattogram North District unit of Bangladesh Krishak League.
