Health Division seeks Tk 41cr for 192 centres

The Health Services Division has sought Tk 41.38 crore to operate 192 urban primary healthcare centres under 12 city corporations and 23 municipalities.

The funds will cover salaries, medicines, medical equipment and administrative expenses for the first nine months of the 2026-27 fiscal year.

In a letter sent to the finance division secretary on October 12, the division requested the necessary budget allocation to run the centres from July 2026 to March 2027.
