BRTA to operate control room during Durga Puja

The Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) will operate a central control room for seven days to ensure safe and hassle-free vehicular movement and passenger travel during the upcoming Sharadiya Durga Puja.

The control room will remain operational at the BRTA headquarters from October 19 to October 25.

An office order to this effect was issued by the BRTA Administration Wing last Wednesday.

According to the order, the central control room, located on the third floor of the BRTA building, will monitor and coordinate vehicular movement and passenger travel during the festival.

BRTA Director (Administration) Md Zakir Hossain will serve as the focal person to oversee and coordinate the overall activities. He can be reached at 01711037987.

Meanwhile, BRTA Deputy Director (Administration) Md Samiul Masud will supervise the officials and employees assigned to the control room. His mobile number is 01734859390.

The office order also directed the deployment of BRTA officials and employees to the central control room from October 19 to 25, with four officials and employees assigned to duty each day.
