The event was held at a field adjacent to Madrasa Abu Hurairah (R) in the Madhubag-Paradoga area. The programme began at 8AM with an education exhibition that continued throughout the day, while the main ceremony was held at night. Ferdous Hossain Rony, chairman of Shamsul Haque Khan School and College, attended as a special guest.

The programme was chaired by Mufti Maulana Mohammad Musa Khan, founder and director of Madrasa Abu Hurairah (R). Director General of the Islamic Foundation Mufti Muhibbullah Baki An-Nadvi presented turbans to the 70 Quran memorizers.

In his speech, Mallik Ahsan Uddin Sami said initiatives to develop students’ skills in general education alongside religious studies were important. Such programmes would inspire students to become talented, ethical and patriotic citizens, he added.
