Jubo League activist stabbed dead in Satkhira

Satkhira: A Jubo League man was stabbed to death by unidentified miscreants in Shyamnagar upazila on Friday night.

The deceased was identified as Asadur Rahman, 35, also owned a fish enclosure. He was the son of Abdul Jabbar, resident of Kaliganj upazlia.

Local people said miscreants stabbed Asadur while going to the enclosure around 8:30pm riding on a bicycle.

Hearing cry for help, locals rushed to the spot and rescued him.

Asadur was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.

Being informed, Shyamnagar Police Station OC Syed Manna Ali visited the spot.
