10 disappeared people remain traceless

Family members of 10 missing people who disappeared from the capital in the last three month have failed to trace them out. The law enforcers still do not know anything about their whereabouts.
Dr Mobashwer Hossain, an Assistant Professor of School of Humanities and Social Sciences of a privately-run institution, NSU, and a former student of journalism department of DU, has reportedly gone missing since last Tuesday. Motahar Hossain, father of the missing teacher, filed a general diary with Khilgaon Police Station in connection with the incident.
Academics and students of Dhaka University (DU) demanded the government find the missing teacher of North South University (NSU) Mobashwer Hossain. They were addressing a human chain at Aparajeyo Bangla on the DU campus on Sunday.
Md Asaduzzaman, 35, a former engineer and his younger brother Faysal Rahman, 30, went missing on the day Dr Mobashwer went missing.  Tanzins syeed wife of Asaduzzaman filed a GD on November 7 with the Khilgaon Police Station stating that her husband and brother-in-law has gone missing.
Interestingly, Asaduz-zaman returned home on Wednesday night a day after his disappearance.  Faysal Rahman was shown arrested by RAB from Narayanganj city on the same day.
Police are yet to find out Utpal Das, a senior reporter of news portal purboposhchimbd.news, who went missing since October 10. Utpal's father Chittaranjan Das and Khugesta Nur E Naharin, editor of the news portal, filed two general diaries with Motijheel Police Station after he went missing.
Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) and Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ), Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) organised several  rallies in front of Jatiya Press Club and in front of DRU to press home their demands.
Aniruddha Kumar Roy, the Managing Director (MD) of RMM Group, might have returned home but his family sources and police deny the report. Aniruddha, the Honorary Consul General of Belarus and the MD of RMM Group, has reportedly gone missing from Gulshan in Dhaka on August 27.  
The whereabouts of Syed Sadat Ahmed, Managing Director of ABN Group and Secretary General of Bangladesh Kalyan Party MM Aminur Rahman are still unknown.
Five days before Aniruddha went missing ABN Group MD and also Bangladesh Nationalist Party leader Syed Sadat Ahmed was abducted from Banani in Dhaka and on the same day of Aniruddha's disappearance, BNP alliance leader and Secretary General of Bangladesh Kalyan Party MM Aminur Rahman reportedly went missing.
A Bangladeshi youth, student of a university in Canada, has remained "traceless" from Dhanmondi of Dhaka area since August 26 night.  Family members suspected Ishrak Ahmed Fahim, 19, a student of Computer Science and Engineering in McGill University, was abducted by some unknown persons when he was returning to his Dhanmondi residence. A missing diary was filed with the Dhanmondi Police Station on  August 27.
The family members of Mithun Chowdhury, President of Bangladesh Janata Party (BJP), has sought intervention of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal in ensuring his safe return. Mithun Chowdhury and another leader of the party, Ashik Gosh Asit, remain missing since October 27. Police, however, foiled a move for human chain by the family members of Mithun Chowdhury in front of the National Press Club on Monday. 
With the reports of untraced persons continuing to surface on the media, another youth allegedly went missing in the capital on October 7. Arafat Rahman, 24, reached the capital on September 17 from Nilphamari to visit his parents in Mohammadpur, said his father Mominul Haq.
A general diary was filed with Mohammadpur Police Station on October 10 mentioning that the 24 years old was missing since September 17. Mominul Haq, father of Arafat Rahman, said, "The family also contacted Rapid Action Battalion-2 on October 29, two days after a message was sent to his elder brother from Arafat's facebook account."
Home Minister Asaduzzaman on Sunday said the detectives are working to trace the missing people, "Our detectives are working to trace the missing people and find out those involved in such crimes," the Minister said.
