Annisul's body arrives today, janaza at Army Stadium

The second namaz-e-janaza for Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Annisul Huq is scheduled to be held at Army Stadium in Dhaka after Asr prayers today(Saturday).
Later, he will be laid to eternal rest at Banani Graveyard in the capital, according to a press statement issued by the DNCC
    
on Friday.
Annisul Huq's first namaz-e-janaza was held at Regent Park Central Mosque in London after Juma prayers on Friday. His body will be brought to Dhaka by a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight around 11:30am today.
And then, the body will be taken to his Banani residence so that family members, relatives, well-wishers and dear and near ones can pay their last respects to the mayor.
The body will be taken to the Army Stadium at around 3:00pm where high government officials, political leaders, socio-cultural

activists and people from different walks of life are expected to pay their last respects to the late DNCC mayor.
Annisul breathed his last at 10:23pm Bangladesh time at Wellington Hospital in London on Thursday. He was 65.
Suffering from neurological problems (dizziness and a lack of balance) for the last several months, he was first admitted to the National Neuroscience Hospital in central London on August 13. Subsequently, he was diagnosed with cerebral vasculitis.
Annisul was put on life support at Wellington Hospital on Monday last as his condition deteriorated. According to his family members, the doctors of the hospital removed the ventilation apparatus from his mouth around 4:23pm London time, declaring him dead.
President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday night expressed deep shock at the death of Mayor Annisul Huq. In separate messages, the President and the Prime Minister conveyed their condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal pace of the departed soul.
