Hemp recovered from pickup-van in Habiganj

HABIGANJ, Dec 30: Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), in a drive, recovered 150 kilograms of hemp from a pickup-van Andiura area in Madhabpur Upazila here early Tuesday.
Sources said a BGB team led by Nayek Saidur Rahman of Dharmagarh BOP conducted a raid and recovered the hemp from the pickup-van at the said area.
BGB-55 Battalion Commander Lieutenant Colonel Asaduzzaman Chowdhury said the estimated price of the hemp is Tk 5 lakh.
