A housewife gave birth to four babies-- two daughters and two sons-- at a private hospital in Rajshahi city on Tuesday afternoon.
The wife is Najnin Nahar, 28, wife of Mamunur Rashid of Mohandanga area of Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila.
Mamunur Rashid said that his wife was admitted to Motherland Infertility Center Hospital in Rajshahi City on Monday. Gynecologist doctor Fatema Siddika performed C-section on the housewife at afternoon.
Two sons weighed two and a half pounds each, and two daughters weighed two pounds each.
Mansur Rahman, grandfather of the children, said, “With four guests coming together, I am very happy.”
The mother and children are currently well, said Motherland Infertility Center Hospital authorities.
