Rajshahi road crash kills 1

A man was killed in a road accident in Muraripur area under Damkura Police Station in Rajshahi on Thursday.

The deceased Monjurul Islam, 45, was a resident of the area.

Shahidul Islam, senior station officer of Rajshahi Sadar Fire Service and Civil Defense, said a tractor trolley hit Monjurul, a farmer, while he was crossing road in the area leaving him dead on the spot.

Fire fighters recovered the body and handed it over to police.

Damkura Police Station OC Abdul Latif Shah confirmed the matter.
