Youth’s body recovered from Padma

Police on Thursday recovered the body of an unidentified young man from the Padma River in T-Bandh area of Rajshahi.

Local people spotted the decomposed floating body with its legs tied around 11.00am and informed police, said Hafizur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Rajpara Police Station.

Police recovered the body and sent it to the Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) morgue for autopsy, he added.

Police suspect miscreants might have killed the young man and thrown the body in the river three to four days ago.
