3 cousins drown in Padma

Three cousin sisters have drowned in the River Padma in Bagha upazila of Rajshahi on Sunday afternoon.

Police said the trio drowned in the river at Sufianer ghat near Meerganj BOP at about 12:30pm on Saturday when they were taking bath.

The deceased were identified as Isha,10, and zim,17, daughters of Zilanukar village, and their cousin Shibra,12, daughter of Shahhidul Islam.

Bagha police OC Mohsin Ali confirmed the matter.
