Technical education helping to reduce unemployment rate

Such education should be introduced so that the working population is created. That is, giving more importance to technical and vocational education. Therefore, in order to reduce unemployment rate, there will be a large scale setting up of factories and investment in the country. If there is no political stability on the basis of consensus in the country, establishment of industrial factories and investment will hamper investment. We have a large number of educated unemployed youth communities and this youth can lead the country ahead. That's why they have to make huge employment opportunities and liberate the unemployed youth from the curse of unemployment. The government must take concerted efforts to eradicate unemployment.
Although Bangladesh has progressed in the four decades of independence, many problems still exist. It can be said that people living in trouble are living in trouble. One of the problems in the socio-economic condition of Bangladesh is unemployment. In general, unemployed means no work. The unemployed people are just unemployed. Unemployed, unable to enter work in spite of being qualified That is, when a citizen is deprived of all his qualifications, when he is deprived of any job or employment opportunity, he is generally called as a baker. The jobless unemployment of a citizen among the countries in the third world is the main obstacle to developing his skills or creativity in the workplace.
Unemployment in our country is a major problem. It is one of the major obstacles to national development of the country. More than three million unemployed people in the our country are half educated and illiterate. The country's desired development is not possible without this huge number of unemployment. There is no way to deny that during the four decades of independence, Bangladesh has progressed in a number of fields, especially in education. Bangladesh's progress in the education sector is not going to be higher than the number of students coming out of the College University every year, higher than the higher education. As a result, the number of educated unemployed in our country is increasing every year. And the job situation of the country is also not good. There are qualifications, but many people are not getting jobs due to lack of money. When an employed young person is not employed due to money and non-cooperation in competitive job market, he usually gets emotional pain. In this way repeatedly in the field of job, he goes on the path of losing his life. Terrorists are involved in various crimes.
The present government is known and popular as a more educated as any other government. But still the technical education remained out of the light. In the meeting, seminars, technical education as much as the importance of the lecture, in reality, its progress is very low. Understanding the importance of technical education, the present government breaks down the education ministry in 2016 and divides them into different categories of technical and madrasas.
In order to expand technical education, the government started admission in polytechnic institutes from 1st century onwards with 1st shift and 2nd shift. In 2009, three percent of the students in technical education were students of technical education. As the increase in seats in polytechnics, this rate is currently 17 percent. The goal of the government is to increase it to 20 percent in 2021 and 30 percent in 2030. For this reason, the Government decided to start the second shift in Private Polytechnics and Diploma in Engineering in Technical School and College.
New polytechnics in 23 districts are not sufficient to expand the technical education. The decision was taken to set up a technical school in all the upazilas of the excluded female polytechnics in the excluded cities; it was started in 100 upazilas. More than four engineering colleges have been set up. Some of these land acquisition, some are in the under construction phase. These steps are definitely commendable for expansion of technical education. However, due to lack of attention, technical education cannot reach the desired goal.
There is no alternative to technical education to make Bangladesh a better country. Their technical education is in the backdrop of Singapore, Malaysia's development. There is a technical education rate of around 60 percent. Hopefully, Bangladesh is moving forward by following their model. We also hope that by the end of 2041, Bangladesh will become a better state by technical education. But this requires far-reaching plans and its proper implementation. First of all, technical education problems should be identified. Then it is necessary to take effective initiative to solve them.
If these problems can be solved, technical education not only reduces the unemployed rate in Bangladesh, but also creates skilled manpower to work in abroad. The country's technology market will expand even more. The implementation of the vision of digital Bangladesh is also possible before the scheduled time. I hope everyone related to government and education will be more sincere to resolve these issues.
