A housewife has allegedly first killed her mother-in-law and then, burried her body over family feud in Tanore upazila of Rajshahi.
The deceased was identified as Momena Begum, 45, a resident of Prakashnagar model clustered village in the upazila.
Khairul Islam, officer in-charge of Tanore Police Station, said Momena's daughter-in-law Sakhina Begum, 22, hit her with a bamboo stick this afternoon following an altercation this morning over family affiairs, leaving her dead.
Then, Sakhina buried the body in the premises of home, added the OC.
On information, police arrested Sakhina and recovered the body early Tuesday.
Later, deceased’s brother Abdul Halim Bhutto filed a case with the police station in this connection, the OC added.
