2 drug traders held in Rajshahi

Two alleged drug traders were detained in Godagari upazila and Rajpara police station of Rajshahi district on Sunday.  

The detained people are: Al Amin, 25, hailed from Chapainawabganj, and Nazmul Islam Sumon, 42, of Habiganj.

In Godagari upazila, acting on a tip-off, a team of police led by Russel and Mojibur Rahman, sub-inspectors of Godagari Model Police Station, raid Sarangpur area in the upazila around 9:00 am and detained Al Amin with 1.4 kilogram heroine.

In another raid a team of RAB-5 detained Nazmul with 1700 bottles of local wine in Silinda area under Rajpara police station, said RAB-5 company commander ATM Moinul Islam.
