Teacher jailed for sexually harassing 5th grader

A mobile court in Rajshahi district on Saturday jailed a a primary school teacher for three months for sexually harassing his student.

The jailed teacher, Bipul Kumar Prang, 45, is an assistant teacher of Mohammad Government Primary School in Bagmara upazila.

Police said Bipul Kumar touched a girl during class and tried to dishonour her this afternoon.

Later, the fifth grader went out of class and complained to family members.  

Being informed, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO Zakiul Islam reached spot and gave the order against the teacher.
