Drug trader held with heroin

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained a suspected drug trader along with heroin in Godagari upazila of Rajshahi district early Tuesday.

Detainee Abdul Mannan, 50, is a resident of Gorer Math area in the upazila.

On infomatin, a team of RAB-5 conducted a drive in Gorer Math area around 5:00 am and nabbed Mannan.

RAB also recovered 300 grams of heroin worth around Tk 30,00,000 from his possession.

RAB filed a case with Godagari Model Police Station under the Narcotics Control Act.  

Rajshahi Metropolitan Police Deputy Commissioner Golam Ruhul Quddus said this at a press release.
