Minor boy drowns in Rajshahi

A three-year-old boy drowned in a pond in Puthia upazila of Rajshahi district on Wednesday afternoon.

Deceased Amir Hamza was the son of Rubel Hossain, a resident of Baneshwar Tatarpur area in the upazila.

Family members said Hamza slipped into a pond when he was playing on its bank near home.
