108 people held in Rajshahi

Police have arrested 108 people from different parts of Rajshahi district, on different charges.

Out of them, 44 people have been arrested from different areas of the metropolitan city, said additional deputy commissioner and spokesperson of RMP Golam Ruhul Quddus.

Different Police Stations, and Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP), in drives, nabbed the people.

Charghata Model Police Station officer in-charge Samit Kumar Kunthu said they have arrested 56 people out of 108.

The arrested people, however, were sent to jail following a court order.
