Top listed drug trader held in Rajshahi

Detective Branch (DB) of Police detained a top listed drug trader in Godagari upazila in Rajshahi district early Saturday.

Arrested Sheesh Mohammad is a resident of Gorer Majh area in the upazila. He is accused in four drug cases.

Additional Superintendent of Rajshahi (Sadar) Police Iftekhar Alam said on secret information, a team of DB police detained him from Bijoynagar intersection in the upazila around 1.30am.

A foreign pistol, six round of bullets, two magazines, 500 grams of heroin and 1,500 Yaba tablets were recovered from his possession.

Earlier in 2007 and 2014, he was detained with drugs and later he was released on bail.
