Man's decomposed body recovered

Police on Wednesday afternoon recovered the decomposed body of a man from a jute field in Sucharan area under Katakhali Police Station of Rajshahi.

Deceased Dulal Hossain, 45, was a resident of Uttar Kajipara area in Puthia upazila of the district.

Quoting the family, Katakhali Police Station officer in-charge (OC) Zillur Rahman said he was a drug addicted, and was missing for last 15 days.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital morgue, said OC Zillur.

Police suspect he might have died due to drug addiction as drugs were found beside the body, the OC added.

However, an unnatural death case (UD) was filed with the police station in this connection.
