Mohammedan humiliates Brothers 8-0

Riding on five goals of Malian striker Souleymane Diabate, Mohammedan Sporting Club embarrassed Gopibaghs famous Brothers Union in an 8-0 match in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League in Mymensingh on Saturday.

The 33-year-old Malian was surely in a mission to complete a double hat-trick on the day but had to stay satisfied with five.

Mohammed Shahriar Emon, Mohammed Jewel Mia, and Nigerian Emmanuel Tony Agbaji added one goal each for the win.

In the other matches, Chittagong Abahani celebrated a 2-1 win over Old Dhakas Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society at the Shaheed Bir Shrestha Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj.

Bashundhara Kings also found a 1-0 win over at the Fortis Rajshahi District Stadium in Rajshahi.

The next matches of the league will be played on 26 April. There, Rahmatganj MFS will face Fortis FC in Munshiganj while Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra will meet Dhaka Abahani in Dhaka.
