Mohakhali XI beats T&T Club 3-1

Mohakhali XI registered a 3-1 win over T&T Club in the ongoing Bashundhara Group Senior Division Football League 2023-24 on Saturday at the Shaheed Birshreshtha Sepoy Mustafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur, Dhaka. 

Riding on a 31-minute goal by Sabbir Ahmed Opurbo, the Mohakhali boys took a lead and it was Zakirul Islam who doubled the lead for them in the 44th minute. 

Although striker Anwar Hossain reduced the margin by one goal for the T&T boys in the 64th minute Mohakhali XI scored the third and final goal in the 77th minute with Shahriar Ahmed Shuvo hitting the net. 

Arambagh Football Academy and Arambagh Krira Sangha played a 1-1 tie match on the day. Arambagh Krira Sangha opened the net in the second half as their striker Shafiqul Islam found the net in the 48th minute. Arambagh Football Academy levelled the margin with a 55-minute goal by Mubarak Hossain In the last match, Bangladesh Boys Club celebrated a 1-0 win over Badda Jagoroni Sangsad. There, Ranna Ahmed of Bangladesh Boys Club scored the match-winning goal in the 65th minute of the match. Badda Jagoroni Sangsad were not able to equalise the score till the long whistle.
