College student cut by train in Cumilla

A college student was killed after being crushed the wheels of a train at Chauddagram upazila in Cumilla district on Friday. 

The accident took place in Gunabati Rail Station area in the upazila. 

The deceased was identified as Md Sanjid, son of Md Khaled, a resident of Koitora vilage under Gunabati union in the upazila. He was 11th grader of Gunabati Degree College.  

Family members said that Chittagong bound Sonar Bangla train crushed Sanjid while he was crossing the train line, leaving him dead on the spot. 

Sheikh Anwar Hossain, Gunabati Rails Station master, confirmed the matter.
