Journalist attacked in Narail, hospitalised

A journalist was injured in a knife attack by unidentified miscreants on Monday night. 
 
Syed Sajibur Rahman Sajib, 30, a correspondent of Somoy TV, was faced the attack at Sheikh Russel Bridge in Narail.

Locals said that Sajib was going towards Narail from Lohagora riding on a motorcycle. When he arrived in the bridge, the miscreants attacked on him with sharp weapons, leaving hin critically injured.

Sajib was initially admitted to Narail District Hospital and later transferred to a hospital in Dhaka for better treatment.

Sajedul Islam, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, confirmed the incident.
