No dengue death in 24hrs

The country experienced no death from dengue fever in the last 24 hours till Friday morning. 

The information was given through a press release by Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
It said the total number of deaths remained unchanged at 569 as there was no new death case.

Meanwhile, 53 new patients were hospitalised during this period, while the total number of cases rose to 100,764.

Of the new cases, 18 were reported in the Dhaka North City Corporation, while 7 others were hospitalised in the Dhaka South City Corporation.

Currently, 770 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals across the country.

Last year, 1,705 people lost their lives due to dengue, making it the deadliest year on record.
