Youth held with huge Yaba pills in capital’s Jatrabari

Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested a suspected drug peddler along with 14000 pieces of Yaba pills from Kajla area under under capital’s Jatrabari Police Station on Tuesday afternoon.

The arrested is idenfied as Waj Kuruni alias Sakib, 22.

Acting on a tip-off, a team from the DB-Motijheel division carried out the raid and arrested him with this large consignment of Yaba pills.

DMP Deputy Commissioner (Media & PR) Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed the incident and said that a case has been filed against him under the Narcotics Control Act with Jatrabari Police Station.
