NCP condemns question paper leakage, irregularities

National Citizen Party (NCP) strongly condemned the alleged question paper leakage and widespread irregularities in the primary teacher recruitment examination held on January 9, describing the incidents as a "brutal blow to the dreams and honesty of the young and promising candidates of our society."

The condemnation was expressed in a statement signed by the party's Education and Research Secretary Faisal Mahmud Shanto on Monday, in which the NCP referred to earlier allegations of question leakage in the Office Assistant recruitment examination of the Department of Primary Education and termed the recurring irregularities as evidence of systemic corruption in the recruitment process.

The statement recalled that the 2024 student public uprising began with direct protests by job candidates against "discrimination, irregularities and fraud in the job system," and that following the fall of the "fascist government," an interim government was formed in the post coup period with the public expectation that it would first eliminate all irregularities in recruitment examinations and establish a transparent and impartial system.
