Uttara Kacha Bazar catches fire

A fire broke out at a kacha bazar in Sector 11 of Uttara in the capital on Wednesday afternoon.

According to fire service control room, the fire was reported at around 5:38 PM.

Being informed, five firefighting units rushed to the spot and douse the blaze after nearly half an hour effort. At around 6:08 PM, the fire was brought under.

Fire Service duty officer Rakibul Hasan confirmed the incident and said that the cause of the fire and the extent of damage could not be determined immediately.
