A group of leaders and activists of the banned Awami League staged processions outside party offices in Noakhali and Narayanganj on Wednesday, breaking locks and hanging banners at the main gates.

In Noakhali, activists gathered around 7am in Maijdee town, broke the lock at the office, and hung a banner reading "Noakhali District Awami League Office" before chanting slogans and organizing a procession. Police removed the banner around 10am and detained five people, according to Sudharam Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md Touhidul Islam.

Locals recalled that the Noakhali office had been vandalized and set on fire on July 4, 2025, a day before the student-led mass uprising that ultimately toppled the party from power.
