Hero Alam arrested on charge of rape and female abuse 

Controversial content creator Ashraful Alam, widely known as Hero Alam, was arrested on Thursday afternoon following a highway operation conducted by law enforcement personnel in Bogra district.

He was subsequently remanded to judicial custody by a tribunal court acting on an outstanding warrant in a criminal case. 

Confirming the development, Mostafa Manjur, Additional Superintendent of Police of Bogra, said his movements "were monitored for a long time" and that intelligence surveillance traced his location near Majhira Bandar on the Dhaka Rangpur highway.

Police erected barricades, pursued his vehicle and "were able to stop the vehicle after chasing; and he was arrested from there," adding, "He was in his own vehicle at the time of arrest."
