Prime Minister Tarique Rahman turned a routine Jum’a prayer at Banani’s Navy Headquarters mosque on Friday into a heart-warming interaction with children and adolescents.

After offering prayers, the Prime Minister spent unhurried moments outside the mosque greeting curious children, exchanging pleasantries and posing for photographs.

His wife, Dr. Zubaida Rahman, attended the prayers in a separate women’s section.

During the interaction, children asked about his fasting, to which he replied warmly, holding a child’s hand, “Yes, I do.”

He encouraged the children as they shared their own experiences of fasting, patting some on the head and praising their efforts.

The playful exchange created a lively and joyful atmosphere, with many smiling, chatting, and shaking hands with the Prime Minister.

Before leaving, Tarique Rahman bade farewell to the children, saying “Allah Hafez,” while they requested his prayers.

He waved to them as he walked toward his vehicle, leaving behind memorable moments for the young visitors.
