Preparatory meeting held in Sirajganj’s Shahzadpur to mark Independence Day

A preparatory meeting was held in Shahzadpur upazila of Sirajganj district on Monday to discuss arrangements for celebrating Independence and National Day on March 26.

The meeting was organised by the upazila administration at the Upazila Parishad auditorium around noon.

The session was presided over by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Masfika Hossain.

Speakers discussed various programs and necessary preparations to observe the day with due respect and enthusiasm in the upazila.

Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mushfiqur Rahman, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr Masud Rana, Social Services Officer Makbul Hossain, Secondary Education Officer Abdus Salam, freedom fighter Binoy Kumar Pal, cultural personality Ustad Shyamal Saha and Kazi Shawkat spoke at the meeting.
