FC Barcelona Femení stormed into the semi-finals of UEFA Women's Champions League with a dominant 6-0 victory over Real Madrid Femenino, sealing a crushing 12-2 aggregate win on Thursday.

Already holding a commanding lead from the first leg, Barcelona showed no signs of easing off.

Alexia Putellas opened the scoring in the eighth minute, followed shortly by Caroline Graham Hansen, who doubled the lead just seven minutes later to end any hopes of a Madrid comeback.

Further goals from Irene Paredes and Ewa Pajor before halftime put the result beyond doubt.

Graham Hansen added her second early in the second half, while Esmee Brugts completed the rout in the 74th minute.

Barcelona will now face Bayern Munich Women in the semi-finals.

In another quarter-final tie, OL Lyonnes overcame VfL Wolfsburg Women 4-1 on aggregate after extra time. Lyon had trailed after the first leg but drew level through a deflected strike from Lily Yohannes.

After missed chances forced the match into extra time, Lyon took control. Melchie Dumornay gave them the lead, followed by a powerful header from Damaris Egurrola.

Tabitha Chawinga added a late goal to seal victory and set up a semi-final clash with defending champions Arsenal Women.

Meanwhile, in the inaugural Women's Europa Cup, Swedish side BK Häcken Women defeated Eintracht Frankfurt Women 3-1 on aggregate to reach the final.

They will face Hammarby IF Women, who beat Slavia Prague Women 5-2 on aggregate, setting up an all-Swedish final to be played over two legs.
