30 kg hashish found in Pirojpur

PIROJPUR, May 3: Police recovered 30 kg of hashish worth Tk 15 lakh from Mawlana Manjil in Arambag area under Mathbaria Municipality of the district on Friday evening.

According to locals and police sources, drugs trading were going on in the house for a long time.

Based on the information, the police raided Mawlana Md Nasir's house under lock and key and recovered the hashish from a room rented by Sajedul Islam Mazid.

None could be arrested in this connection, said Officer-in-Charge of Mathbaria Police Station Rabiul Islam.
