SSC examinee killed in Kushtia road crash

An SSC examinee was killed in a crash between a microbus and a motorcycle at Daulatpur upazila of Kushtia district on Wednesday.

The accident occurred around 4:30 PM in front of a brick kiln at Jayrampur area of the upazila. The deceased was identified as Rahibul, 16, son of Iman Ali, resident of Hisnapara village in Taragunia Farakpur.

According to local sources, Rahibul was traveling by motorcycle when a speeding microbus struck him, leaving him dead on the spot.

Daulatpur Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Ariful Islam stated that upon receiving the news, police arrived at the scene, recovered the body and took it to the Daulatpur Upazila Health Complex. 

The microbus has been seized and is currently in police custody. A case has been filed in connection with the incident, he added.
