The authorities of the University of Chittagong have suspended all classes and examinations on Wednesday due to adverse weather, waterlogging and transport disruptions.
The decision was announced in a notice signed by Acting Registrar Prof. Dr. Mohammad Saiful Islam at around 7:30 am.
According to the notice, all scheduled classes and examinations have been postponed in view of the severe weather, widespread waterlogging and transport difficulties.
Heavy rainfall over the past three days has caused extensive waterlogging across Chattogram, disrupting transportation and creating severe commuting problems for students, teachers and university staff. Considering the situation, the university administration suspended all academic activities for the day.
