Two students of the University of Dhaka's Shamsun Nahar Hall have been awarded gold medals, while 31 others received scholarships in recognition of outstanding academic performance.
The awards, tilled "Shamsun Nahar Mahmud Scholarships", were presented on Tuesday at a ceremony held in the hall auditorium.
The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Dhaka, Professor Dr A S M Obaidul Islam, attended the event as chief guest and handed over gold medals, scholarship cheques, and certificates to the recipients.
