Jamaat secy gen visits Abbas in KL hospital

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Mia Golam Porwar on Tuesday visited BNP Standing Committee member and Political Adviser to the Prime Minister Mirza Abbas Uddin Ahmed at a hospital in Malaysia.

According to a statement issued by Jamaat's press wing, Mirza Abbas is currently undergoing treatment at Prince Court Medical Centre in Kuala Lumpur.

During the visit, Golam Porwar inquired about the condition of the senior BNP leader and wished him a speedy recovery. He also offered prayers for his well-being. The statement said the Jamaat secretary general spoke with those concerned about Mirza Abbas's treatment and expressed hope for his early recovery.

Barrister Najibur Rahman Momen, a member of parliament, was also present during the visit.
