BUP hosts CFS Int'l Confce

Faculty of Security and Strategic Studies (FSSS) of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) has concluded Ist CFS International Conference, bringing together leading scholars, policymakers, and security experts from across South Asia and beyond to deliberate on evolving regional security dynamics.

The two-day (May 19-20) conference held at the BUP's Shadhinota auditorium centred on the theme "National Security of South Asia in the Context of the Emerging World Order." 

It highlighted growing concerns over geopolitical uncertainty, shifting alliances, and the need for stronger regional cooperation in an increasingly complex global security environment.

Keynote addresses were made by Dr Pramod Jaiswal of Nepal, Subhashini Abeyasinghe of Sri Lanka, Dr Salma Malik of Pakistan, and Dr Greg Simons of Sweden. 

As the chief guest Speaker  Hafiz Uddin Ahmed  stressed the importance of regional cooperation and evidence-based policy formulation. 

BUP Vice-Chancellor Major General Md Mahbub-ul Alam, along with deans, senior officials, faculty members, researchers, and students, also attended the event.
