At least 1,320 Ukrainian soldiers were killed in operations by various groups of Russian forces during the ongoing special military operations in Ukraine.
Russian Defense Ministry said that the casualties occurred in the past 24 hours, reports Russian news agency TASS on Saturday, May 30.
Meanwhile, in the past week, Russian forces launched more than 2,300 drone strikes against Ukraine, about 1,560 guided-bombs attacks and 108 missiles, Ukrainian state news agency Ukrinform reports citing the country’s President Volodymyr Zelensky’s information.
Russian Ministry of Defense said that about 200 Ukrainian soldiers were killed in the areas under the responsibility of “North” Battle Group, more than 180 in the “West” Battle Group, more than 85 in “South” Battle Group, more than 340 in “Center” Battle Group, more than 455 in "East" Battle Group, and another 60 in “Dnepro” Battle Group.
In addition, in the past 24 hours, Russian air defense systems have shot down 10 guided bombs, a US-made HIMRAS multiple-launch rocket system missile, and 352 fixed-wing drones, the Russian Ministry of Defense said.
