The UIU Mars Rover team, representing the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (CAIR), also earned the Best Autonomous System Recognition for its outstanding performance in autonomous navigation and robotics.

The on-site phase of the competition was held in Utah, United States, from May 27 to May 30, bringing together some of the world's leading university rover teams.

According to the final standings, the Mars Rover Design Team of Missouri University of Science and Technology claimed the championship title, followed by Monash Nova Rover of Monash University in second place, while UIU Mars Rover secured the third position globally.

Bangladesh's presence at the international event was further strengthened by notable performances from other university teams. BRACU Mongol-Tori finished in seventh place, MIST Mongol Barota secured the 11th position, and AAUB Rover71 ranked 34th.
